Menu operations
---------------

The menu operations available in the main window.

File Menu:
^^^^^^^^^^

* 
  New: clears the scenes of GAMs and DataSources, resets the project configuration and state machine to defaults.

* 
  Import: Allows you to import configuration from other supported formats such as .cfg.

*
  Open: Open a pre-existing GUI configuration from .xmt format.

*
  Save: Save the current GUI configuration to .xmt.

*
  Export: Allows you to export the configuration to any supported format, such as .cfg.

*
  Exit: Close the current application instance.


Data Manager:
^^^^^^^^^^^^^

* 
  Import Data: Loads previously recorded data from CSV format from a executed MARTe2 Configuration. It will load the data into corresponding GAMs and DataSources as long as the column signals match to the signal names of the blocks. `See Graphing Tool <./graphing_tool>`_.

* 
  Clear Data: Clears all data from existing GAMs and DataSources, pauses the playback operations if running and prevents further execution of it without data.

Advanced:
^^^^^^^^^
* 
  Type Database: Opens the type database configuration window. `See Type Database <./type_library>`_.

* 
  Options: Allows the user to configure the advanced options of the general behaviour of the GUI application.
